Academy Recruitment are looking to recruit a Geography Subject Leader for a school based in the Southend-on-Sea area of Essex.
The successful candidate will have excellent subject knowledge and an inspirational approach to the delivery of Geography within the Humanities department.
This role is suitable only for Teachers with a minimum of two years teaching experience. An ability to teach other Humanities subjects would be beneficial.
To be considered for this position you must have:
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience teaching Geography
• Strong classroom management skills
• Be a suitably qualified teacher with QTS (qualified teacher status), QTLS (qualified teacher learning skills)
• Ability to lead, organise and manage the Geography department in the absence of the Humanities HOD
